About DrosTuga2021
We are pleased to announce the 8th edition of the Portuguese Annual Drosophila Meeting (#DrosTuga2021), which aims at bringing together national and international members of the Portuguese Drosophila community, Portuguese Drosophila scientists abroad and any participants from other countries wishing to attend. The purpose is to promote open sharing of data and ideas and to provide a rich forum for discussion of new research findings and conceptual breakthroughs in an informal environment.
Due to the ongoing uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's meeting will still be held virtually on the afternoons of the 29th and 30th of November 2021.
We will have the pleasure of listening to two Keynote Speakers, whose exciting work spans a broad range of topics of interest to our community: Isabel Palacios and Nicolas Gompel. The meeting will also include selected short and long talks presented at the Plenary Sessions via Zoom, as well as two interactive Poster Sessions held in the Hopin platform with enough time for discussion and mixing between students and researchers at different stages of their career. Thanks to our sponsors, there will be PRIZES for best talks and posters!
You can find now the final outstanding programme here.
Attendance is FREE, but registration is compulsory. Registration are now closed (dates and deadlines).
Looking forward seeing you all there!
