AMeeGuS is the annual meeting of the PhD students from Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência (IGC), an international centre for biomedical and biological research and graduate training, that has been ranked among the "10 Best Places for Post-docs outside the USA", by The Scientist (2010, 2011). This event aims at creating an informal atmosphere where students share and discuss their projects with their peers, receiving precious feedback to improve their work. In addition, notable Keynote Speakers from relevant and cutting-edge biological fields are invited to enrich the event with their knowledge and advice. The event takes place in different regions of Portugal, filled with astonishing landscapes, food and cultural landmarks.
