InnOValley is a knowledge and technology transfer office, established in 2019 in partnership with the Municipality of Oeiras. Its goal is to accelerate the translation of scientific discoveries into positive societal impact.

The InnOValley Proof of Concept (IOV PoC) is one of InnOValley's flagship programmes. This pioneering initiative in Portugal involves an annual fund of 200 000€ to support the best translational projects in life sciences within the scientific reserach ecosystem of Oeiras. These projects must demonstrate promising results with innovation potential, aiming to create new intellectual property and address significant societal needs.

On June 20^th, 2024, we will present the 21 applications that make up the innovation and translational research offering for the 3^rd edition and announce the 4 most promising translational projects, which turn scientific discoveries into practical market solutions and that will receive funding up to 50 000€ each for 1 year.
